1. Change out filters so your furnace runs cleaner and more efficient. This is best to do every 4 – 6 weeks! Here is a tutorial by Casey on how the change the filters: video.

2. Check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors monthly. Watch this video on how to change the batteries: video.

3. Before the first frost (in this area, typically mid-October) disconnect hoses from outdoor faucets and store away.
