Important update: Housing is deemed an essential business

Dear Friends of CBH,

Idaho’s Governor Brad Little just held a press conference and has declared a 21-day stay-at-home order for all non-essential businesses, effective immediately.

We want you to know that housing, construction, and the businesses that support them are deemed an essential business and are exempt from this 21-day order. 

Housing is needed now more than ever. The community needs us, the economy needs us, and we want to help homeowners get into their new homes.

We believe in being socially responsible and acting in the best interest of our community. Just as we’ve been a leader in the housing industry, we’re trying to be a leader in this new normal. As of two weeks ago, we made vast changes to our business operations:

• We have gone to by-appointment-only and virtual appointments in our Sales Centers.
• We offer Tour Now locks so you can tour homes on your own safely and at your convenience.
• You can buy a new CBH home online through our Buy Online program via our website.

We’re here. We’re building. And we’re taking steps to ensure you and our homes are safe and healthy.
