Home Prices Continue to Rise!

 

Not only was Boise recently voted #4 on the Top 10 Best Downtowns, but home prices are continuing to rise, creating an urgency we haven’t seen in quite some time. Since August, we have seen a steady increase in the market conditions, a continuing sign that we in the housing industry are on the mend.

CNBC is talking about the seven straight months of increase, boosted by the tax credit, and the positive signs that follow.

The sustained good news in home prices “makes us optimistic for continued recovery in the housing market,” David Blitzer, chairman of the index committee at S&P Dow Jones Indices, said in a statement.

While they only discuss the 20 cities in their focus, the Treasure Valley is definitely seeing these effects and are hopeful that this will be a continued trend from here on out.
