Brrr .. it’s getting cold out there and we want to make sure you and your home are warm and cozy as we head into holiday season and prepare for winter. Tim & Brett are back this month to recap what we shared with your in October and bring you a brand new November tip.
TODAY’S TIP TUESDAY: Before the snow hits, it’s time to clean up our gutters from any leaves and debris that may have gathered over the past couple months. Don’t forget to make sure the downspout is directed away from the home for draining water.

Here are the Tip Tuesday tips from the past month:
- October 6 – Noticing an increase in bugs? Create your own bug repellant with a spray bottle, water, and 10% peppermint oil. It is also a plant repellant so be careful around greenery.
- October 13 – It’s that time of year again, CBH Homeowners! Prevent damage to your irrigation system by having your sprinkler pipes blown out!
- October 20 – Don’t be left out in the cold. Temperatures are dropping. It’s time to contact a professional today to have your furnace serviced and running in tip-top shape.
- October 27 – Daylight savings is this weekend! As we fall back on our clocks, now is the perfect time to change our furnace filters and check smoke detectors. Check out our easy tip video for instructions.
